Manufacturing
Workflow
| Manufacturing Industrial PC |
|
Staff from our production building work on a wide range
of systems. For each prototype of a subsequent device series,
documentation is produced detailing the construction of the device in order to
ensure reproduceability and to document the agreed delivery state. In order to
prevent components from damage, each employee and workstation is
electrostatically protected using special precautions.
In addition, in the entire manufacturing an ESD floor is laid.

Assembly of ABLE Public Display Systems
The manufacturing of the new ABLE Public Display Systems with TFT-display sizes between 81 cm and 140 cm is running at a separate assembly line.
Specific handling systems, separate areas for assembly of display and touch and allocated space for the pre-assembled components are important for production of the large scale panel systems.
| Assembly inspection |
|
Assembly inspection and initial electrical testing
directly at the system manufacture stagedirectly in the system production
After all of the components have been assembled, the systems are
inspected: a comprehensive assembly inspection, customer-specific tests (if
required) and an electrical safety test are performed. All test results are
logged.
| Burn-In |
|
Systems are prepared for the burn-in In our
burn-in chambers, the devices are operated at increased temperatures under full
load in order to be able to detect any early failures. All functions are tested
using a diagnosis program and malfunctions are recorded.
| Final inspection |
|
Customer-specific sample inspection (e.g. extended
temperature range) The system now comes to the final inspection, in
the course of which an employee inspects it for a third time. A visual final
check is performed and a check as to the completeness of the accessories and the
delivery package. The serial numbers of all key components and of the device are
also recorded in our ERP system. A high-voltage test is then conducted in
accordance with the EN norm and also an grounding test. If necessary,
customer-specific tests are also performed.
All of the results of the two
test phases as well as the manufacturing data are logged and stored. In this way
it is ensured that all relevant system data can be accessed again at any time
and can be compared with later results of further production.
| Shipping |
|
The finished systems are packaged and then secured to
the palette before being loaded onto the truck After successful
completion of the final inspection, the devices are individually packaged,
secured to palettes and shipped.
