DSM Computer presents a high-performance Slot-CPU card with PCI Express Four PCI Express x1 interfaces that conform to the PICMG 1.3 standard provide very high data transfer rates for DSM Computer's "96M4301o" industrial Slot-CPU card. Proceeding with the exceptional throughput, the module integrates the Intel® Pentium® 4 or Celeron® D processor which with a maximum clock rate of 3.2 GHz provide very high performance. The fast processor is supported by the two Intel 915GV with 800 MHz Front Side-Bus and ICH6 chip sets. The integrated GMA-900 Graphics Media Accelerator with up to 224 MB (dynamic) or up to 128 MB (static) Dynamic Share System Memory provides excellent picture quality. The maximum resolution of the display is 2048 x 1536 pixels at 85 MHz refresh frequency. The ICH6 controller and an AC'97 Codec 2.3 provide the audio functions. The main memory can be expanded to a maximum size of 2 GB. Two DIMM slots for 256 to 1024 MB memory modules are also provided. For the storage of mass data, the Slot-CPU provides a serial ATA interface for four SATA 150 drives. The connection of two enhanced IDE drives is also possible. The internal Compact Flash socket located at the rear of the card can be used to store small data volumes quickly. The "96M4301o" card provides two RJ45 ports, a 10 Base T/100 Base TX/1000 Base-T network connection for the fast and reliable data transfer. The integrated Dual Intel® GigaBit Ethernet controller supports even the establishing of a Dual Ethernet network. The board provides four or, optionally, eight USB 2.0 ports, an IrDA connection, eight GPIOs and connections for keyboard/mouse using USB. Two serial interfaces (RS232, 16C550 FIFO-compatible) and a Centronics-compatible parallel interface complete the broad range of input/output possibilities. A system hardware monitor supervises the voltage and temperature values and the fan function. The temperature range during fan operation is specified as 0 to 60 °C.
