DSM Computer presents its first RoHS-compliant 19-inch industry PC
DSM Computer has structured its newly presented 19-inch Infinity industry PC (96M1594) in 4U format on a lead-free ATX motherboard. This means that DSM Computer is providing its first RoHS-compliant industry PC one year in advance of the entry into force of the European Regulation on the Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances in New Electronic Devices.
The use of the newest technology is also demonstrated by the Intel 945G chip set that is used, which can be combined with either Intel Pentium 4 HT or Celeron processors with hyper threading support. The motherboard is equipped with up to 4 GB DDR2 533/667 RAM.
Due to a variety of interfaces, the industry computer is able to manage a wide variety of fields of application. In addition to a PCI Express x16 graphics port, a PCI Express x1 I/O-connection and four PCI slots, there is also a Gbit LAN interface with 10/100/1000 MBit/s, eight fast USB 2.0 interfaces and a parallel, a serial and an audio interface. Four serial ATA II 300 interfaces (SATA) and an ATA 100 interface for one or two removable drives are also integrated.
One 3.5 inch and four 5.25 inch slots are envisaged for floppy disk drives, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, hard disks etc. All of these are stabilized against vibration. The HDD block with 4 x S ATA slots can be removed where necessary.
The built-in power supply is dimensioned for a maximum of 550 Watt or 2 x 300 Watt (redundant). The high-performance 12 cm ventilator that is behind a replaceable dust filter ensures necessary cooling.
The robust, high-quality 19-inch industry chassis is supplied as standard in RAL 7035 or optionally in all other RAL and NSC colors and upon request also with the company logo. Lockable metal doors protect the operating elements, and the power switch and reset are on the front panel.
Quality is of primary importance to DSM Computer. Therefore, in addition to the 48 hour burn-in, the company also guarantees a one year warranty for the CE certified ATCX PC 96M1594.
