ATX industrial mainboard with Intel® 945GME chipset in the 3 U and 4 U industrial computer
DSM Computer AG extends the 3 U and 4 U industrial computers by a configuration variant with an ATX industrial mainboard that uses the Intel® 945GME + ICH7 chipset. This gives the user a low-cost and power-saving alternative that has a state-of-the-art CPU platform, six PCI slots, and a PCI Express x16 slot.
The ATX industrial mainboard with the Intel® 945GME + ICH7 chipset supports a 533 and 667 MHz front-side bus and can be optionally expanded to have a maximum of 3 GB memory. To satisfy the wide range of customer requirements, the processor palette ranges from the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Mobile through to the Intel® Celeron® M.
The industrial board can be used for continuous operation (24/7) in an extended temperature range (0° C to +60° C). The VGA controller integrated in the Intel® 945GME chipset supports CRT, LVDS (18-bit) and TV. Depending on the system, a maximum of four SATA II hard disks can be connected as RAID unit. The board also provides a Dual GB LAN (10/100/1000) with two Intel® 82573V controllers, eight USB 2.0 slots and the Audio AC97 Codec ALC655 with Line-in/Line-out/Mic interface.
The RS-232/422/485 interface, the three RS-232 interfaces, the low power consumption provided by the Mobile CPU and the compact dimensions of the 305 x 244 mm board allow the 19" IPC system equipped with an ATX industrial mainboard to be used in a particularly wide range of application areas.
The quality of all installed individual components is guaranteed at the DSM factory by the established and tested quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2000. The 19" 3 U (96M1593) and 19" 4 U (96M1591) industrial computers will be supplied with a long-term availability of at least five years. The systems available in all RAL and NCS colors can also be supplied with customer-specific logo.
