Complete production overview in DSM Computer’s BlueBook
DSM Computer has represented its complete product portfolio in a clear and concise way in its new 1/2006 BlueBook. In addition to the extensive service offer, the technical design parameters of all deliverable Infinity industry computers, Infinity panel systems, embedded systems, slot-CPUs, backplanes and system components are integrated into a total of 56 pages.
In addition to established models, a considerable number of new features have been added to the current BlueBook. Examples of this are a 3 rack-unit industry PC, further 4 rack-unit computer variants and the first 19-inch IPC-based on a lead-free ATX motherboard. Of particular noteworthiness is also a new industry slot-CPU card in accordance with the 1.3 PCI Express PICMG standard, which is suitable for the most rapid data transfer. The model range of embedded PCs has been expanded with the NanoServer with passive cooling technology. A large number of the computer systems detailed in the catalog are already available RoHS-compliant.
As the standard products also serve as a basis for customer-specific solutions, one chapter of the BlueBook is devoted to the company's "modular world" theory. DSM produces the desired configuration of its customers and as a result, the section on "competence" goes into the topics of easy update, long-term availability, modular design and service friendliness.
Under the motto "quality is not a game of chance", DSM's extensive quality process is demonstrated in addition to the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system, beginning with assembly check and electrical pre-testing in system manufacturing and including QA acceptance, final inspection and goods departure inspection.
