DSM Computer presents its new PICMG 1.3 SBC for Intel® Dual Xeon®
The current PICMG 1.3 SBC (96M4531o) for the Intel® Xeon® processor and the Intel® 5100 + ICH9R chip set is the ideal solution for special communications applications in industry.
The SBC supports 1066 and 1333 MHz front-side buses. The main memory of the card can be expanded to 32 GB. A maximum of four SATA II 300 drives can be connected for general data storage in the system.
This makes the PICMG 1.3 PCI Express SBC equipped with Dual GigaBit Ethernet, 10Base-T/100 Base-TX/1000 Base-T/TX an optimum product for performance-intensive industry automation computing tasks.
An XGI Z11 with 32 MB memory is provided as an on-board graphic system. A second VGA and a DVI connection for extended control tasks are optional.
In addition to six USB 2.0 ports, two serial interfaces, where the COM2 can be freely selected, and a parallel interface are available. External peripherals and a mouse or keyboard can be connected to the USB and also to the PS/2 interface.
A system hardware monitor controls not only the fan and the temperature values, but also the voltage values. The SBC contains a watch-dog timer that can be set by software in time periods from 0.5 to 254.5 seconds.
The PICMG 1.3 PCI Express SBC with the full construction length of 338 x 122 mm can be installed in the complete 4-U product series of the DSM Infinity® systems.
