DSM Computer presents fanless NanoServer® with AMD®
DSM Computer AG expands the NanoServer® family with the new Embedded System E7 "96M1561L". The industrial system is based on the AMD® Sempron™ Mobile 2100+ processor in conjunction with the AMD® M690E and SB600 chipset.
To allow the flexible expansion, the NanoServer® "E7" optionally uses two PCI slots for short cards. The second integrated Realtek RTL8111C LAN controller permits the installation of gigabit network cards.
The NanoServer® is particularly suitable for industrial applications, kiosk systems, information terminals, ticket vending machines, automatic teller machines or gaming machines, and for computation-intensive multimedia applications or in medical engineering.
A solid, high-quality industrial housing with compact dimensions of 245 x 200 x 110 mm has space for two 2.5 inch SATA II 300 RAID-capable HDDs. Eight USB ports (four internal, four external) are provided for the connection of diskette and/or CD/DVD-ROM drives; optionally, disk-on-module or compact flash can be connected. The power is supplied either from an external 100-240 VAC power supply unit or directly via 24 VDC.
For the embedded system, universal metal rails are supplied for the space-saving installation on the floor or on the wall. The CE-certified NanoServer® operates in the temperature range of 0° to +45° C. The industrial system can be supplied in all RAL and NCS colors, also with a customer-specific logo.
